What do you get when you combine the death-defying talents of internationally acclaimed circus troupe Circa, with the hilarious and often ridiculous antics of the residents of Mossy Bottom Farm? Shaun the Sheep’s Circus Show, of course!
This family-friendly event begins on January 5 at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl – marking the very first time the show will be performed in an open-air theatre. The delightful narrative revolves around the adventures of Shaun, Bitzer and the rest of the flock as they escape runaway tyres, outwit bulls, learn to fly and perform astonishing feats of acrobatic excellence.
The playful charm and signature wit of Academy Award®-winning studio Aardman (otherwise known as the masters of the stop-motion clay animation technique) is evident throughout the production, and the catchy soundtrack will have you bopping along in your seat.
So if it’s wholesome school holiday fun with a side of un-baa-lievable circus stunts you’re after, this wildly entertaining show delivers. We promise ewe (and everyone else) will love it.
Shaun the Sheep’s Circus Show will kick off the 2022 Live at the Bowl series. For further information on tickets and performance times, head to the website.
