Time Out says

Motherhood can be both bittersweet and absurd – Still is both. Written by New York's Jen Silverman (Tales of the CityThe Moors), the play touches on the topic of stillbirth, an experience that has historically been swept under the rug but is here bravely explored.

Morgan has just given birth, assisted by midwife Elena. At the same time, 18 year old Dolores is drawn to Morgan and Elena due to a shared experience. And then there's Constantine, an imposing figure that seems to not be of this world.

Still comes to Fortyfivedownstairs via Heartstring Theatre, who you may remember for their Green Room Award-nominated, all-female-starring performance of Coriolanus in 2016. Still stars Elisa Armstrong, Sara Bolch, Joanne Booth and Joey Lai, with direction by Sarah Vickery. See it June 30 to July 11 at Fortyfivedownstairs.
