Time Out says

Enjoy an afternoon of Champagne on Grosvenor's green

Grosvenor Hotel is taking advantage of the summer vibes and transforming its outdoor cellar into a Champagne-tasting haven under the lead of sommelier, Loris Sain. For a cool $35, you'll taste through a mixture of six stellar house and grower Champagnes, be able to snack of grazing platters and be treated to live music.

The Champagnes you'll taste through in the afternoon are produced by Fourney (from a 20-hectare vineyard focussing on organic and biodynamic practices), Gosset (the oldest wine house in Champagne), Sélèque Solessence Natural (a third-generation grower from the Sélèque family's first vineyard), Laherte Freres (a grower operating since 1889 where the champagnes are a pure expression of terroir), Nicolas Feuillatte and Le Brun de Neuville (a grower who produces elegant Champagne from the chalky slopes of Sezannais).

This great-value tasting is running on Friday, December 6 from 4pm-7pm, and we reckon you'd spend that $35 on less on any other Friday night. Bookings are essential and available through this link
