Pizza E Birra is opening their doors to the barbecue masters of Fat Sheep for a summer of tasty, meaty delights

Every Sunday until the end of March, grill masters Fat Sheep will take up residence at St Kilda restaurant Pizza e Birra to serve up their famous arrosticini. These grilled skewers are made from specially prepared lamb placed over piping hot coals. The method comes from the province of Abruzzo in Italy, where this humble farmer’s dish became famous for its punchy flavour.

Chef Augusto Trinetti will be on hand to cook up these barbecue bad boys using lamb that's preservative free, additive free and certified organic, and sourced from Victorian farmers Cherry Tree Organics.

Price of admission will snag you 10 skewers of this old-school grill grub, a drink (choose from alcoholic or non-alcoholic) and as much freshly baked focaccia as you can fit into your face. It’s the perfect thing to sink your teeth into on a summer Sunday.
