Scienceworks joins forces with experts, astronauts, artists and performers for a night starring astronomy and light
Meet a former NASA astronaut, discover the wonders of astronomy and light, and listen in on talks and shows highlighting the latest research on dark matter, circadian rhythms, fluorescence, lasers and light sabers, cosmology in Antarctica and the astronomical knowledge systems of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, far older than today's technology.
This family-friendly event includes a range of hands-on activities like stargazing with science experts, interactive art installations, and a crazy laser maze. The adults will also get a kick out of meeting former NASA astronaut Marsha Irvins, who has spent a total of 55 days in space.
Festival tickets include access to Planetarium shows, Lightning Room shows, and a LED wearables workshop.
