Scienceworks joins forces with experts, astronauts and artists for a party starring astronomy and light

Meet a former NASA astronaut, take a virtual reality tour of the universe, stargaze through top-of-the-range telescopes and listen in on fascinating talks at Scienceworks' annual astronomy festival.

This year, Scienceworks has invited a stellar line-up of experts to enlighten you on the latest discoveries and developments in space, including retired NASA astronaut Dominic 'Tony' Antonelli and Dr Sarah Wittig from the European Space Agency, who will discuss what space science will look like in 2030.

This family-friendly event includes a range of hands-on activities like stargazing with science experts, Planetarium and Lightning Room shows, hands-on activities and a virtual reality zone, where you can pretend you're in space.

Naturally, there'll be a bar, café and food trucks to fuel you up all night.

For an extra $5, you can gain access to Planetarium shows and Lightning Room shows.
