The inaugural Great Southern Beer and Cider Festival conveniently falls on the eve of Grand Final day. The festival is a great excuse to take a daytrip out of the city and sample craft beers and ciders in the heart of Yarra Valley at the Yarra Glen Racecourse. Gourmet street food by food trucks and local businesses, as well as live music entertainment throughout the day, make the event a brilliant way to spend the public holiday.
