Cook, blogger and author of cookbook Ostro and A Year of Simple Family Food, Julia Busuttil Nishimura, is hosting a one-off virtual Italian cooking class in conjunction with King and Godfree.
The venue (that happens to be Australia's oldest licensed grocer) is celebrating a milestone of 150 years and to mark the occasion, the team is launching a six-month program of events that celebrate Italian staple pantry items.
To kick it off, September is pasta month and Nishimura will run a masterclass by Providoor. She'll take over Providoor's Instagram live at 7.30pm on Thursday, September 23 and show you how to make some of her favourite Italian dishes. Expect a four-course meal featuring white bean and olive crostini with fennel salami; marinated zucchini and stracciatella; hand-rolled pici pasta with sausage ragu; and her signature tiramisu.
Meal kits can be pre-ordered via Providoor for $165 (this feeds two) so that you can cook along while tuning into the class. Order here.
