Time Out says

This virtual event with Annabel Crabb comes complete with cheese and wine delivery

Stylish Aussie ceramics label Mud Australia is teaming up with journalist, commentator and kitchen whizz Annabel Crabb for a virtual talk event where she unpacks the motivations and ethical challenges faced by business owners in 2020 with Mud’s founder, Shelley Simpson. The pair will exchange stories and ideas in this one-hour digital event, which will be the first in a series of conversational events designed to bring communities together.

This is more than your average livestreamed event, however. Your ticket, for $150, includes a parcel delivered to your door in time for the event, which includes: a mezze platter from Free to Feed (Sydney viewers receive a cheese platter for two from Two Good), a bottle of organic wine by Voyager Estate Winery (in your choice of Cabernet Merlot or Chardonnay), and either a small cheese platter or charger plate from Mud (in a lucky dip of colours).

If you’re umm-ing and aah-ing over that ticket price, consider that you’re not only buying an ear into the philosophies of two women who are leaders in their fields, with a sophisticated ‘showbag’ on the side – every ticket purchased in Melbourne provides refugee employment through Free to Feed. This not-for-profit social enterprise assists people seeking asylum to find meaningful employment opportunities using their existing skills and experiences.

Ticket holders can tune into the talk with Crabb and Simpson from 6pm on Thursday, August 27, with a special login on YouTube Live.
