Time Out says

A new date has been set for a one-day celebration of Bendigo’s wine region and its passionate winemakers

A joyful celebration of delicious wines and premium local produce, Bendigo Winegrowers Spring Wine Fiesta is a day for championing the region’s first class drops and the people behind them.

The original event had to be postponed in October after the region’s floods but a new date has been set for the wine festival: Saturday November 26, at Bendigo’s Gardens for the Future in White Hills. Get your glasses ready!

Guests will have the privilege of being among the first to taste the latest (including many unreleased) drops from scores of Bendigo wineries. There’ll also be exclusive releases from Glenwillow, Turners Crossing and GilGraves on offer, delicious food from local purveyors and live music curated by the team behind the Bendigo Blues and Roots Music Festival. And of course, you’ll be able to sample the bold shiraz and cabernet blends that the region is renowned for, and support locals who’ve been having a challenging few months.

Tickets for the Spring Wine Fiesta are $65 each (or $35 if you’re going to be the designated driver) and are available now. Your ticket covers entry to the event, all wine tastings, a souvenir glass to take home, and live music. Pre-purchasing your ticket online will include you in the running to win one of two $100 vouchers to spend on the day.

If you’re arriving by train a free shuttle bus running hourly from Bendigo Station will take you to and from the event, so you don’t even need to worry about getting there.
