Time Out says

Balmy arvos are made for kicking back with mates and enjoying some live music. After an undoubtedly rough year for the music industry it's more important than ever to treat our ears to the sounds of our country's hardworking artists. You can enjoy Ballarat's live concert series, Summer Sundays, over three dates at three different venues or tune in from afar to experience some much-needed melodies from Aussie legends.

Some of Ballarat's biggest attractions will play host to the Summer Sundays series. Sovereign Hill, Kryal Castle and the Ballarat Wildlife Park will all have pop-up, safely distanced concerts added to their usual splendour. The concerts are totally free and you can pre-book tickets to your favourite attraction and enjoy the music while you take in the sights.

So what's in store? On January 10 at Sovereign Hill you can be soothed by the golden tones of Clare Bowditch with support from C.W. Stoneking and Juan Alban. Or perhaps you'd prefer the grungier sounds of Ella Hooper who'll be performing on January 17 at Ballarat Wildlife Park with sets from Hayley Mary and Connor Toomey. Then take a trip through Oz rock history by seeing Daddy Cool and Mondo Rock frontman Ross Wilson perform with his latest band on January 24 at Kryal Castle with support from Benny Walker and Candi Wade.

The City of Ballarat is encouraging you to get your gang together or tee-up the fam to experience the Summer Sundays series online. Each concert will be beamed live from the venue on the Summer Sundays Facebook page so you can experience the atmosphere from the safety of your own home or make a day of it with a picnic in the park and your chosen streaming device.

Summer Sundays concerts all take place at 2.30- 5pm over three weekends this January. For more info and to tune in, keep your eyes peeled on their Facebook page here.
