Time Out says

Sour beers are all the rage at the moment, with even the biggest producers creating sour lines. Welcome to Brunswick is hosting a festival devoted to these mouth-puckering creations, as well as all things sweet.

There will be plenty of 4 Pines beer available, including a raspberry wheat beer, a lemon rosemary, a Margarita gose, as well as a Berliner weissbier made just for this festival. There will also be sweet and sour syrups to add to to the weissbier to intensify the flavours.

Food will be on the sweet and sour spectrum too, including things like kimchi burgers and super-sour candy stalls.

Not keen on beer? Other treats include Fireball with a chaser of popping candy, rum with a fizzy sour cola bottle, Dark and Stormy cocktails, a pickle and fairy floss stand, and Negroni-covered toffee apples.

For those who can't get enough acid, there will be an umeboshi-tasting competition. The umeboshi is a salted, pickled Japanese plum that is so sour it makes your mouth pucker instantly.

Entry to the festival is completely free, and you can bring your four-legged best friend.
