Back for another big year, this after-dark light festival in Melbourne’s north is coaxing you out of the house with live music, light projections, interactive art, roving performances, food trucks and family friendly activities
On Saturday, June 21 from 6pm, the Town Hall Broadmeadows precinct will be bathed in colour while a festival of grand proportions takes place under the banner of the Hume Winter Lights Festival.
The free, one-night-only festival will go big with a line-up that includes Bag Raiders (you bet we're excited to hear 'Shooting Stars' live) and Lastlings. You'll be able to dance the night away as these music legends get the crowd up and moving.
Wander around a visual feast of interactive art, dazzling light projections and immersive experiences by local visual artists and community groups. Meanwhile, roving entertainers and acrobats will also keep you enthralled.Â
To keep you fuelled for a night of festivities, there will be more than 20 food trucks spanning a wide range of cuisines. Best of all, the night will be topped off with a shimmering fireworks display.
