Parents can book as soon as same-day services or as far as 90 days in advance. All babysitters are fully screened with an in-person interview, background checks, professional childcare reference checks, CPR certification and even a social media review.
Parents are introduced to potential babysitters via photo, video and a profile page, but if they want to test the waters first, Helpr suggests booking an extra 15 minutes before heading out the door or booking someone for an interview or trial run while remaining in the home.
Rates start at $25 per hour, but vary by location, number of children being cared for and the amount of notice given. Helpr also works with companies that subsidize childcare for its employees.
