When lifestyle photographer Christina Angel's 13-year-old son Anthony asked to surprise his sweet little sister Anabel (nicknamed Belle) with a Disney-themed photoshoot for her 5th birthday, it was impossible to say no! This super sweet photoshoot took place in April at the Conrad Formal Gardens at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and the photos are so cute it hurts.

Though Belle's name may have you banking on a Beauty and the Beast theme, the pair donned a Snow White gown and a costume inspired by Cinderella's Prince Charming. Anabel had recently ripped her favorite Snow White dress, and big brother Anthony saw it as an opportunity to surprise her with a new gown for her birthday (along with the news of her upcoming photoshoot!). Choosing characters from two different Disney films allowed Mom (Christina Angel) to suggest that these royals were siblings rather than a couple.

The photographs weren't the only thing that made this photoshoot so heartwarming. Anthony struggles with depression, and when he tries to isolate himself, it's always his little sister Belle who pulls him back out into her playful world. "She brings him out of his isolation because she is always involving him in her day," Angel said. "He is thankful to have her and wanted to show his appreciation." What a wonderful kid!
Going through the final photos was an emotional experience for Angel, but she gets just as misty-eyed when she sees Anthony pushing Belle on the swings, when he holds her hand to cross the street or when he tucks her into bed. Anthony got to share this joy with his little sister, and after this heartfelt experience, and Angel is planning on doing a series of these photos with all seven of her children.

"I am so thankful that he decided to do this," Angel added, "and that he put the work into making it happen, because I will have these photos forever. Belle has these photos. She has the memories and she has the feeling of knowing that she is loved. Their bond is an every day blessing."
