Sure, ghosts and ghouls are essentials for an epic spooky season, but see-it-to-believe tricks are also part of your magical month. This being said, The Magic Lab NYC just set up shop to dazzle visitors with interactive experiences, augmented reality, live presentations and more fun dedicated to all-things mystifying. The colorful immersive experience with a tech twist is expected to explore the world of magic and all of the creativity it has in store for curious minds. It's the perfect way to celebrate October without going overboard with creepy creatures (hey, those zombies and monsters need a break, too).

Visitors will have the opportunity to lose themselves in various installations such as "Magician's Room," "Poker Tunnel" and "Wandering in Space." To take the pop-up experience up a notch, Magic Lab goers can also experiment with projection mapping and sensor technology to truly examine magic from a new lens. For $38 (general admission is $26 and $21 for kids ages 4–12), attendees can enjoy interactive magic tricks with local magicians on Fridays–Sundays from 8–10pm.
