Here's when you can participate in Target's Car Seat Trade-in program

To coincide with Baby Safety Month and the back-to-school season, Target is running one of its most popular promotions: the Car Seat Trade-In program.

Parents might want to strongly consider donating those booster seats for a good cause—and a few perks! From Sept 3–Sept 13, shoppers can head to their neighborhood Target and leave their used, damaged or expired goods—including infant seats, convertible seats, car seat bases and harnesses—in a designated area. In return, they'll receive 20 percent-off baby equipment purchased in store or online!

Act quickly though, Mom and Dad: Those who redeem this offer will
only be eligible to use the discount until Sept 14. Once pre-k is back in session and the busy season kicks into high gear, parents are going to need a few gadgets and gizmos to help things run smoothly.

Plus, patrons will be pleased to know that their efforts helped contribute to Target and Waste Management's nearly 12 million pounds of recycled materials. Nothing like shopping with purpose!

Even better news? Once you've snagged your coupon and purchased a new car seat (or other knick knacks) you'll be ready to tackle all of the best fall activities for kids: pumpkin picking, harvest festivals, fall foliage drives and so much more. Your kiddo will be riding (safely) in style, but we can't guarantee that the NYC traffic will cooperate. But, we'll keep our fingers crossed!
