In a grand affair on Nov 21—complete with fireworks, Christmas carols and appearances from Santaland elves—Macy's unveiled its joyful 2019 holiday window display.

Award-winning designer and Macy’s National Director of Window Presentation, Roya Sullivan, created the "Believe in Wonder" theme that will delight shoppers and Herald Square commuters from now until Jan 1. The six windows are focused around the fictional Santa Girl.

"Through her, we’re charmed by the power of magical thinking and we’re reminded that we all have Santa’s spirit in our hearts,” Sullivan said in a statement. Santa and his giving nature are certainly reimagined in a creative way thanks to LED lights, chrome decorations and other eye-catching features.

There are interactive elements along the way, such as photos in a kaleidoscope window! Plus, there will be a tribute to Yes, Virginia… in the 34th St windows and 2019 Holiday Barbie in the 7th Ave windows. If you find yourself in Downtown Brooklyn, the local Macy's will unveil its own window display on Nov 26 for the first time since it has undergone renovations.

Let's not forget about one of our favorite Christmas events for kids: Macy's Santaland! The grand celebration will run from Nov 29–Dec 24, and meet and greets with Kris Kringle will begin Nov 29. Visitors will be able to RSVP online beginning Nov 25.

Enjoy the most wonderful time of the year!
