Mother Nature certainly has us confused. One minute we're tracking fall foliage, the next it's 90 degrees. Then suddenly, we're fast-forwarding to winter.

Macy's Santaland 2019 is causing a buzz about town, and now the department store is providing a sneak peek at its annual holiday windows. We're eagerly anticipating the gorgeous designs (while munching on some early Halloween candy).

On Nov 21, the grand display will be revealed at 6pm. This year's theme, Believe in the Wonder, is the brainchild of artist Roya Sullivan and focuses on a character named Santa Girl.

"Through her, we’re charmed by the power of magical thinking and we’re reminded that we all have Santa’s spirit in our hearts,” Sullivan said in a statement. There are six windows guiding us through her holiday festivities, beginning with the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and ending with a visit from Kris Kringle. There are interactive elements along the way, such as photos in a kaleidoscope window! Plus, there will be a tribute to Yes, Virginia… in the 34th St windows and 2019 Holiday Barbie in the 7th Ave windows. If you find yourself in Downtown Brooklyn, the local Macy's will unveil its own window display on Nov 26 for the first time since it has undergone renovations.

Although this is one of the many winter activities for kids that still feels somewhat far off, you are definitely going to want to turn your attention to SantaLand. Meet and greets with Kris Kringle will begin Nov 29, and visitors will be able to RSVP online beginning Nov 24. According to Macy's reps, information about slots will be available online in mid-October, so keep your eye on the site!
