As a new season gets underway, NYC is experiencing changes.

Can I send my child to school?
After several delays, NYC schools are officially in session as of October. Some students are learning remotely while others are participating in the blended learning model. Families can opt in for complete remote learning at any time throughout the year or opt into blended learning at a few key points throughout the year. Should a virus infection rate equal or exceed 3 percent on a seven-day rolling basis, the school will close for two weeks. Here is a list of closures thus far, as of Oct 2.

Can my family go trick or treating this year?
Governor Cuomo said that trick or treating in New York will be acceptable this year, and guidelines are to come. However, the CDC discourages trick or treating. The organization's rules are meant to supplement what states issue for their residents.
