Yoga with baby goats? We're trying this class A.S.A.P.

Mom's ideal workout is typically kid-free, but an afternoon with these kids...well, that's another story.

Hip New Yorkers can opt for an unusual type of exercise experience thanks to a new class headed to Brooklyn. Sharon and Aldo Boustani, the owners of NY Goat Yoga by Gilbertsville Farmhouse, are bringing their inventive program down to Bushwick for a two-month stay beginning Apr 17. Say it with the goats now: "Omm..."

You might have kiddies at home running amuck, coloring on the walls, screaming at the top of their lungs, jumping on the neatly-made bed. Here, kids (baby goats!) will graze your leg while you're stretching, step in for smooches while you're getting your zen on and perhaps even steal a sip of water from your bottle when you're not looking. It's sweet, fun and certainly an atypical way to work out in NYC (classes are $40).

"Goat yoga is about wellness, but it is also about connection and community," Sharon tells us. "We love the fact that this class instantly breaks the ice and connects a group of 40 strangers. The goats help us to disconnect from stress and worries, and remind us not to take life too seriously."

For those adults who had a little too much fun at the Easter petting zoo, now is the time to indulge in a few snuggles with fury friends in between poses. If you're a parent looking for a new way to have fun with kids, you've certainly found it (even your kids 12 and up can participate).

Another added bonus to goat yoga? The post-workout happy hour offering ($50) is a great way for parents to spend some quality time with one another. There will also be a day trip to the farm upstate for brunch and a workout.

Are you ready NYC? It's time to get zen.

NY Goat Yoga's Pop Up Studio is located at 74 Ingraham St, Brooklyn (nygoatyoga.com).
