Attention parents who are packing summer camp lunches: You might want to forgo a fan-favorite snack in your kiddo's brown bag for the time being.

Pepperidge Farm's ingredient supplier notified the brand that a whey powder in a seasoning potentially contains salmonella, according to NBC New York. Although there haven't been reported cases of sickness from consumption of the snacks, Pepperidge Farm is recalling particular items. If you've made a trip to the grocery store in recent days, here are the treats that you should toss:

Flavor Blasted® Xtra Cheddar
Flavor Blasted® Sour Cream & Onion
Goldfish® Baked with Whole Grain Xtra Cheddar
Goldfish® Mix Xtra Cheddar + Pretzel

Unsure whether your snack is salvageable? There are different packaging options that are part of the recall, so take a good look at the company's chart that lists the particular snacks, expiration dates, descriptions and so on. Though it's definitely a bit of a bummer in the height of the summer season—especially when tots need to refuel after a day of activity—families are better safe than sorry.

For those who have questions about the recall, they can visit the Goldfish Cracker update on Pepperidge Farm's site or call 800-679-1791. In the interim, check out these cool lunch box ideas for kids for some inspiration.
