Download a new Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade app

The new Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade app allows families to track Santa, transform pictures of themselves into an Elf balloon and more.

If you’re heading to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday, November 22 (or watching from home), you may want to download MyCityWay's new Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade App. The app features the parade lineup, a real-time Santa tracker (so your family can keep their eye on St. Nick’s whereabouts) and a function that lets onlookers tap into traffic light cameras for a bird’s eye view of the procession. Little parade-goers will gush over the Elf-o-matic feature, which allows users to superimpose their faces on balloon favorites like Santa’s elves, Spiderman and Spongebob (you can even share the photos with friends and family). The app will also come in handy during those less, er, festive moments, like when you’re hunting for a bathroom. In addition to information about balloon inflation locations and pop-up shops, the app gives onlookers a comprehensive guide to New York City including directions to public restrooms, coffee shops, Wifi hotspots and dining info. The app has been developed for Android and iOS devices and is available now at the iTunes App Store and Google Play. Oh, and did we mention it’s free? Now that's something to be thankful for.
