According to the world of comics, Gotham is a city in perpetual need of saving. Luckily we'll be getting a big dose of heroes when the sold-out Comic Con hits town from October 5th to 11th. For those with tickets, there'll be plenty of not-to-miss events, crazy costumes and after-parties, but anyone who likes to eat can get in on the action with limited-time Comic Con foods around town. From a red, white and blue frozen hot chocolate to a Destiny's Lord Shaxx-inspired sandwich, these are the super-powered eats to try next week.

No. 7 Sub: Chef Tyler Kord gives a shout-out to the video game Destiny with this limited-time You Fight to Win Guardian sandwich, available at all three locations of his shop (Ace Hotel, Plaza Food Hall, Brooklyn Bridge Park). The sub is built with otherworldly materials, like Plasteel Plating (prosciutto), Sapphire Wire (roasted bean sprouts), Hadronic Essence (Thai Basil) and Ascendant Energy (pho mayo).

Serendipity 3: After a long day of adventuring, cool down with this Super-dipity Frrrozen Hot BLUE Chocolate, available throughout the week. A wonky blue blend of Serendipity 3's frozen white hot chocolate comes piled with whipped cream flecked with red, white and blue stars in a S3-emblazoned goblet.

Eataly: The Italian market will offer a Dr. Cone-Evil and Crepe Crusader duo. Get your choice of gelato in a mini-cone, then fill it up with Nutella, roll it in hazelnuts, and finish it with a Nutella crepe.

Two Boots: The meat-averse can geek out with this Super Vegan Slice—sold at the Hell's Kitchen and Grand Central locations—that comes with broccoli, artichoke, red onion, shiitake mushrooms, basil-red pepper pestos, Daiya vegan cheese, and house ricotta.

Courtyard by Marriott Central Park: Head to this hotel bar for three legendary libations: the Fantastic Pour (a riff on a blackberry-basil Collins), an oversized Tonic Boom with grapefruit juice, and a mysterious Secret Identity.

Wikia's Fantasy Food Truck: After several rounds of fan voting, these top four fantasy foods will be offered for FREE to ticket-holders at Wikia's Fantasy Food Truck, located on the North Concourse of the Javits Center. Attendees can try the first-place Nuka-Cola from Bethesda’s Fallout, the Cookie Cat from Cartoon Network’s Steven Universe, Mabel Juice from Disney XD’s Gravity Falls, and Greedy Milk from Warframe.

Brooklyn Brewery: The festival tapped these Gotham natives to create the event's official brew. It's a West Coast-style Brooklyn Defender IPA with fruity hops and a dash of roasted malt. Click here to find the super beer at a bar near you.
