Governors Ball 2014: Our best photos from Sunday

The final day saw Interpol, the Kills and Axwell & Ingrosso take the stage for one last NYC hurrah

Day three of Governors Ball saw the slightly flagging crowd flood onto Randalls Island one last time to see the Kills, James Blake, Empire of the Sun, Foster the People and Tyler, the Creator. Sunday also saw the much-talked-about return of local heroes Interpol to their home turf. To the crowd's delight, they unfurled a set heavy on their back catalog, including “Slow Hands,” “Evil” and a poignant “NYC.” Finishing off the weekend on the main stage was Vampire Weekend—which turned in a solid 90-minute jaunt through its career to date—and, on the Honda Stage, Axwell & Ingrosso. The EDM stars were the perfect closers, their final ecstatic notes floating in the air as confetti fell onto the emotionally wrung–out crowd. Same time next year, Governors Ball?
