Autumn in New York: a time of brisk air, colored leaves and, best of all, the start of the fall theater season. Discounts vary from show to show, but the New York Theater Sale give you a chance to snag Broadway tickets for under $69 (or $89 in the orchestra section). There are some real doozies among the deals. For example, the hit Bobby Darin biomusical Just in Time, now starring Jeremy Jordan—which we just re-reviewed and found in great shape—offers cuts of up to $143, and you can save as much as $105 on the gorgeous Maybe Happy Ending. If Off Broadway is more your speed, you can slice up to $82 from the price of the long-running Little Shop of Horrors (currently featuring Ethan Slater and Betsy Wolfe); the upcoming Irish musical Parcel from America is delivering a whopping 58% discount.
The roster includes many proven hits, such as like The Rocky Horror Show, The Book of Mormon, Hadestown, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and the aforementioned Just in Time and Maybe Happy Ending. But it also features multiple upcoming Broadway shows that have not even opened yet: Downstate, The Imaginary Invalid, Inter Alia, School Girls; or, The African Mean Girls Play and the musicals Galileo and The Fantasticks.
