But let's be real–your apartment is likely too small to host a party, so going out seems like the better option. Astoria's home away from home is hosting a chili cook off and Super Bowl watch party with comedians. Starting at 5:30pm, cooks can enter their dishes for $10. (You can judge them for $5!) And for the first half of the game (not during commercials or half-time), comedians will provide entertainment with their improvised riffs. Tickets are on sale here.

Go to Stonewall if you're ready for a night of extra Super Bowl entertainment. The landmark bar is having five hours of drag shows, dancing and games with Laila Gulabi and music by DJ Dynamite–all starting at 4pm. Tickets are $8 online.

Catch all the plays on two screens (with sound) at Parklife, which will also set up outdoor cornhole and street curling games if the weather holds out. The Wilson at INNSiDE by Meliá New York NoMad is celebrating the big game in its own way – with puppies. From 3-4pm, The Wilson will be hosting a Puppy Bowl, where five pups will go "head-to-head." Then the real game starts back over on the bar's enclosed patio on an 80-inch screen and on three big-screen HD TVs.
