Odette is safe in the top 10, while modern Mediterranean restaurant Lolla falls off the ranking

It’s early spring in Seoul, South Korea, but the heat is on at the Grand Hyatt, where the announcement of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants is underway. The live award ceremony takes place in the Korean city once again this year, and all eyes are on the screens, waiting to see how Asia’s hottest dining establishments fare in this round.
The prestigious list, released yearly, is decided by 350 regional voters consisting of chefs, restaurateurs, food writers, and well-travelled gourmets who have visited these restaurants in the past 18 months. Earlier this month, a total of six Singapore restaurants were named in 2025’s extended 51-100 list.
Tonight, the host announces that the following Singapore restaurants are featured among this year’s Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants:
Singapore celebrates seven wins this year – two short of nine from last year’s awards. For starters, Odette, which placed #10 in 2024, now sits comfortably within the top 10 at #7. Another three-Michelin-starred fine-dining stalwart, Les Amis, also rises ten spots from last year to #28 this year.
The remaining five restaurants drop a couple of spots – Labyrinth falls from #30, Meta from #28, and Seroja (last year’s impressive new entrant) from #31 in 2024. Australian barbecue restaurant Burnt Ends and Euphoria take the biggest hits, dropping 23 and 28 places respectively. Meanwhile, modern Mediterranean restaurant Lolla, previously #43, falls off the top 50 and top 100 lists completely, though it remains a favourite among Time Out’s picks of Singapore’s 50 best restaurants.
So, which countries clinch the top spots in this year’s Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants? Japan wins big, dominating more than 20 percent of the list with 11 venues in total. Nine are from Tokyo, while two others hail from Fukuoka and Osaka. Omakase institution Sushi Saito also makes a grand re-entrance to the list.
Coming in at #1 is none other than Gaggan from Bangkok, which rises two spots from third place last year. Meanwhile, sitting at #2 and #3 are The Chairman and Wing, both from Hong Kong. The restaurants bagged the fourth and fifth spots last year, and are true testaments to Hong Kong’s culinary prowess and finesse in Cantonese cuisine.
