Shop surplus produce for discounted prices

treatsure was started to tackle the problem of food wastage with fresh solutions. At the end of the day, markets and supermarkets will have surplus produce or food nearing its expiry date (but perfectly fine to eat) which usually ends up being thrown out. Founder Preston came up with the idea to have an app to redistribute the food to others. On the e-store, find sourdough bread, barramundi fillets, surplus vegetable bundles and even ice cream popsicles for discounted prices. The selection changes frequently so be sure to keep checking.

Ugly Food

Shop 'ugly' and misshapen produce

Never judge a book by its cover – the same goes for fruit and vegetables. An initiative started by university students in a project, co-founders Yeo Pei Shan and Augustine Tan are trying to educate people to curb throwing away or rejecting perfectly edible food simply because they are "ugly". Shop generous bundles of vegetables and fruits which are good to last for two to three days from the price of $20.
