You’ve watched it rise from the ashes of the former Convention and Exhibition Centre at Darling Harbour, now you can take a sticky beak inside the new International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) before it opens in December.
Everyone’s invited to the public open day on Saturday October 22, from 10am-4pm, to explore the exhibition and entertainment space – which is where artists like PJ Harvey will be playing during Sydney Festival 2017.
Visitors can take a self-guided tour of the facilities, including the grand ballroom and the 9,000-capacity ICC Sydney Theatre.
The ICC officially opens with Keith Urban’s show on December 14. There are already 380 events locked in to the calendar, including The Hunger Games: The Exhibition (Dec 20-Feb 4) and the Mind Body Spirit Festival (Apr 5-10).
