On the list of 'World's Best Jobs' cheese judge has to be in the top three, and Dairy Australia is giving you a chance to live out your dreams for this year's Australian Grand Dairy Awards.
For the very first time they are opening up a ballot that will let 20 lucky fromage fans join the official judges in determining the 2017 winners.
The judging process, which until now has been shrouded in mystery, is being opened up to the cheese-loving public at an event called 'An Evening of Cheese' at the Grounds of Alexandria. This is where the 27 finalists (cut down from 169 entrants) will be plated up and ready for tasting. That's right, folks. You get to try the 27 best cheeses in the country from nine categories including bries, blues and cheddars. What a time to be alive.
So how do you get to go to this magical land of joy and lactose? Pop you name in the ballot and if you're one of the chosen ones you can doll up for the event on Tue Nov 22 from 6-9pm. Forget the Lotto, this is the real jackpot.
