Kick off NAIDOC week with this amazing (and free) concert celebrating First Nations talent

On Saturday, July 2, NAIDOC week is getting kicked off in Sydney with an electrifying start in a massive (and free) outdoor concert celebrating First Nations cultures, music and dance. With glowing trees, fire-pits, food trucks and a gin truck pop-up all coming along for the ride, this particular Sydney night out looks set to be an all-round stunning time.

With ARIA nominated singer-songwriter and eclectic musician Mo’Ju headlining, joined by fellow First Nations musical legends Ziggy Ramo, Aya J, Tessa Thames and Cloe Terare, this massive electro-pop and live soul concert is all about showcasing the beauty of First Nations talent and history, bringing the past into the present in a truly show-stopping kind of way.

The concert will be held on Walumil Lawn at Barangaroo Reserve, with the physical setting for the production acting as an extra layer of significance to the proceedings. The location represents Barangaroo, the esteemed Cammeraygal woman and community leader who was known for her resistance to colonial powers in the earliest days of Sydney’s European settlement.

Starting at 7pm, entry is totally free and everyone is welcome. To learn more about this epic live music night and accessibility, you can visit the Barangaroo website by clicking right here.
