Time Out says

A CBD bar is transforming into a playpen for grown-ups for the long weekend

Sydney loves a ball pit moment. We’ll not soon forget when a sea of white balls dubbed the Beach filled the Cutaway in Barangaroo for Sydney Festival in 2017, or when the bubblegum pink sea super-sized sprinkles came to town as part of a pop-up dessert museum. And now this coming January long weekend, Side Bar – a popular haunt for backpackers – will be filled with more than 250,000 balls for a weekend-long pit party.

This adults-only shindig – think of it as a less sticky alternative to a foam party – will also feature confetti cannons, neon cocktail buckets and DJs spinning party-starting bangers. There’s no doubt that selfies from this ultra-Instagrammable will be haunting the Tinder and Bumble profiles of Sydney for months to come.

Tickets will be available on the door, or you can secure your queue-jump tickets now for $15.
