Keep the joy going at this dazzling post-parade party

You'll be overwhelmed with glitter and love at this year’s Mardi Gras Party, dancing through ten live shows, 20 DJ sets and five dances spaces. The huge celebration will take over the Entertainment Quarter from 10pm, so you better slug some Gatorade to keep you dancing after the festivities on Oxford Street.

The night will be led with a pop-disco performance by Kim Petras, who’ll be breaking hearts with her slew of recent singles including ‘All the Time’ and ‘Can’t Do Better’. She’ll be joined by PNAU, the group behind the dreamy 2016 hit ‘Chameleon’ with vocals by Shakira Marshall, and the Aussie drag queen with a killer set of pipes, Courtney Act.

They'll be going heavy on the glowing paint, as their stage in the Royal Hall of Industries will be getting a neon renovation for the party. It’s going to be glow stick city and local DJs Amanda Louise and Dom De Sousa will keep the glowing crowd vibrant throughout the night beside international acts.

On the complete flipside, the Hordern Pavilion will be going very grunge glamour, with a makeover dedicated to Berlin’s nightclub scene. You’ll be dancing with Jake Shears of Scissor Sisters, Paul Capsis and House of Slé, as well as DJs channeling that heady European nightlife.

Feeling flat? Has your outfit turned into a flop? Head to the Max Watt’s for a makeover the disco-era beauty salon that’s taking over the venue. While you’re there, you can catch sparkling local DJ legends the Dollar Bin Darlings alongside international hot shots like Late Nite Tuff Guy.

There’s more on in the Forecourt and plenty of opportunities to party as you pass between venues.
