Get in early if you want a piece, as Sydney's popular baking festival attracts a big crowd

The Flour Market has quite the dedicated following. Get there early in order to snap up baked goods from the likes of Brewtown Newtown, pâtisserie bad boy Andy BowdyBrickfields, Black Pantry, Alfamores, Ciccone & Sons, Devon Cafe, Donut Papi, Fleetwood Macchiato, Gateaux Sydney, Grumpy Donuts, Luxbite, Miss Lilly's Kitchen and Shortstop Donuts & Nutie.

Entry on the day is $2 (or free for under 12s). Or, purchase an Early Riser ticket for $10 that gets you through the doors from 8.30am. Warning: they sell out super fast and the market stays open until all the baked treats are sold.
