It’s been a while since we last went out for a bar crawl, so join us as we go through the venues whose names have been making the rounds of the grapevine the past few months. Some of them just recently opened while some were victims of the forced lockdown and have just now reopened.

Be the first to say, “I’ve been there.” Ekkamai’s newest speakeasy takes inspiration from the era when drinking was deemed indecent. Its hidden location challenges you to find a way into its Japanese-style glasshouse-like space where you can sip on unique concoctions.

The latest addition to the roster of bars in Soi Nana, Chinatown, which includes Teens of Thailand, Asia Today, and TAX, takes a different route by purveying Italian favorites alongside classic tipples.

Indie party organizer Dudesweet has launched a music bar on Khaosan Road, it’s name a humorous reference to the Thai word for criminal. Expect lively energy and lots of fun from this bar, which blasts out anything from mainstream gay icons like Britney Spears to all-time alternative legends like Radiohead.
