Aza Mansongi & Jonathan Vatunga: Congo Eyes
Time Out says
They say the eyes are the windows to the soul. But this exhibition demonstrates that eyes can be used to connect with other people. Featuring the works of two Congolese artists, Aza Mansongi and Jonathan Vatunga, the portraits on display are able to connect with audiences at a more personal level and establish an intercultural dialogue, whether it be from exaggerated facial expressions or via the medium of realism and abstraction.
