Happy City by Tatsuhito Horikoshi
Time Out says
Fascinated by the youth’s optimism, purity, and cruelty of ignorance, Japanese artist Tatsuhito Horikoshi brings his latest collection of paintings that portray a chaotic, yet neutral world. Through experiencing the urban environment of Hong Kong, which provided a powerful source of artistic inspiration, Horikoshi’s drawings take on a very sensitive, emotive, and beautiful narrative. Heavily influenced by manga and anime, it is clear that the artist has a deep-rooted, and perhaps even childish, love for our city.
