My Mate in HK by Kang Jun Seok

From April 2 to 16, Gallery Ascend is showcasing Korean artist Kang Jun Seok's first-ever international solo show, My Mate in HK. A master in soft tones and gentle brush strokes, Kang's work often incorporates elements from nature and the landscapes of Jeju Island. For this exhibition, Kang has created 11 new childlike character paintings to explore our relationship with nature as a place of spirituality. The gallery space has also been specially decorated for visitors to feel as though they've stepped into a dreamlike utopia filled with greenery. It's truly a must-visit for those wanting to take a stress-free break away from city life.
