Last week’s Typhoon Saola threw lots of plans in the air, but here’s hoping the weather holds up this weekend. Head on over to the Southside area for #SouthsideSaturday, which will see galleries across Wong Chuk Hang, Tin Wan, and Repulse Gallery put on a range of exhibitions and programmes.
From 11am to 7pm, this event will give you the chance to gallery hop through participating galleries such as Alisan Fine Arts, Artspace K, Blindspot Gallery, De Sarthe, Mou Projects, Rossi & Rossi, and Pékin Fine Arts, among others. Expect to immerse yourself in special events and exhibits like fibre art, a mix of ink and piano music, live drawing, and dreamy photography.
Launched with the Hong Kong Art Gallery Association, #SouthsideSaturday brings art happenings in the area together on a Saturday each month, so this is definitely something to keep an eye on. Check out their website for a full list of events and their timetables.
