Incorporating traditional Tibetan art and Buddhist thangka art, Tibetan-Nepalese artist Tsherin Sherpa is known to blend traditional and contemporary art and his reinterpretation of Tibetan iconography. Inspired and motivated by the 2015 earthquake in Nepal, Sherpa presents installations and paintings paying tribute to the resilience of the Nepalese and his constant battle with identity and displacement.
