Vita water launches 100% recycled bottles

Vitasoy have announced that they will be packaging their brand of pure distilled water, Vita, in 100% recycled bottles going forward. Many drinks that we find in our local shops come in polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles, and the team behind Vita will now be recycling these bottles through a process of sorting, high-temperature cleaning, and reshaping to make their new eco-friendly bottles. In the first quarter of this year, expect to see Vita water in 430ml, 700ml and 1.5L 100% recycled bottles. The company aims to reduce plastic waste and the use of fossil fuels to promote environmentalism and waste reduction in Hong Kong. Now that's an environmentally conscious decision we can drink to!
