The standout star of Bake Off 2016, Selasi Gbormittah, knows a thing or two about baking. He's launching a bakery-Deliveroo pop-up today, so we got in touch with the man, myth, and legend, to ask him what his five favourite bakeries are in London.

1. Dominique Ansel

'I try to go there because Dominique does the 'cronut', a half doughnut, half croissant thing. They’ve got some fancy, amazing stuff.'

2. Pâtisserie Valerie

'They have one of these next to work. I tend to go there for coffee. Their cakes are simple and well executed. There's one called Madame Valerie. It’s a chocolate cake with some honeycomb and some chocolate cream.'

3. Peggy Porschen

'I go to Peggy Porschen for simple cakes. Cream cheese frosting always does it for me.'

4. Hummingbird Bakery

'Hummingbird is good. They brought cupcakes over to London from the US. They’re consistent and have kept everything as it was when they started.'

5. Konditor & Cook

'The best things at Konditor and Cook are the Curly Whirly Brownies, which are made using cream cheese.'
