The canal walk

Pretend you’re in Amsterdam (with slightly less laidback cyclists) and mooch around London’s six-mile ‘canal square’

London’s canal system is a marvel of industrial engineering. Over 200 years old, it no longer acts as a commercial artery into the heart of London from the countryside, but instead has become a network of thoroughly pleasant waterside paths. And submerged shopping trolleys. But still very pleasant.

Is this fully open now from Kings Cross to  Camden? It's a great walk and especially through to Regents Park but was closed for a long while so don't want to go if not open as starting from KX

Walks along the canal is a great weekend activity! It's a side of London not everyone gets to experience and they should! It's also a great way to see you parts of London you wouldn't normally get to see as each area you walk by has something unique to offer. The moored boats along the canal walk make you feel like you could be in Amsterdam. I recently walked the canal from Kings Cross to Camden to Regents Park and the following day walked the canal from Mile End to Limehouse Basin. Highly recommend.
