The garments describe the evolution of design in Australia, including the rise of the department store and the halcyon days of shopping at the top end of Collins Street. All design favourites for the last two centuries are represented, including everyone from Akira Isogawa and Collette Dinnigan to Australiana revivalists Romance Was Born and contemporary faves PAM and Alpha60.
