Time Out says

Over the last 14 years, this artist-run space – located in the beautiful Nicholas Building – has presented exhibitions featuring more than 1,500 artists, writers and curators. For a week in November, the gallery will be presenting the work of a selected number of these talented creatives with an exhibition and fundraising event with a fun twist.

So here's the deal: every single piece in B-SIDE will be accompanied by a hidden 'b-side'; a work created by another artist in response to that piece. This secret artwork will be revealed only to the buyer, once they have purchased the work. It means that, as a potential buyer, not only will you be able to own the work of a significant contemporary artist, but you will also take home another surprise piece that will reveal the response to the piece by someone related to that artist – whether that's a friend, fellow artist, family member or mentor.

Artists involved in the exhibition include Melbourne talent Kiron Robinson, with a b-side by Tori Lill. There's also Claire Anna Watson with Sarah Wilmot, Chris Bond with Wes Thorne, and many more; visit the BLINDSIDE website for the full list.

For the full B-SIDE experience, head along to the opening party on Thursday November 2. Expect tasty drinks, great tunes and raffle goodies donated by the likes of ACCA, Heide MoMA and Búl Clothing. Your involvement will help to ensure that BLINDSIDE continues to support exciting experimental artists and public programs.
