At the highest point of Bendigo's View Street arts precinct you'll find Dudley House: a mid 19th-century brick house that housed Bendigo's first surveyor, Richard Larrit, and his wife, Maggie Larrit. No one has lived in the house for quite a while now, but it's still put to good use by serving as a gallery, event and function space.
