Jack's Magazine

Jack's Magazine is an old munitions storage facility located on the banks of the Maribyrnong River in Maribyrnong. The site is best known for its long bluestone buildings (which first opened in 1878) but Jack's Magazine also features tramways, tunnels and earth blast mounds. The buildings were used up until the 1990s when they were decommissioned – but the space is still occasionally used for events. You can also take private guided tours by appointment.
