Raise a glass to Aussie wines in this month-long festival that celebrates the diversity and quality of our country’s wine producers
Held every year in May, Aussie Wine Month is the best excuse we’ve ever heard for throwing a boozy party. The festival celebrates the 65 wine regions in Australia and the variety of wines they produce, encouraging people to try something new, from grape variety to provenance.
There are more than 150 events taking place across the country, from comedy nights at cellar doors to winemaking workshops in the city. The best way to find out what’s happening at local wineries, restaurants and bars is to visit Aussie Wine Month’s website.
