Walking into Footscray's Bar Josephine is like stepping back in time. A time in which VHS was the most-used acronym and plaid shirts were all the rage. This is all owing to its endless collection of videos lining the wall and the rustic furniture that adorns the space. Used bus seats, much-loved books and quality banter courtesy of the bar staff. That's what you'll get here. It's welcoming and approachable, and that reflects on its range of drinks.
Beer is the main name of the game here, and the bar showcases some of the west's finest tipples including Hop Nation. There's 12 taps and you can find anything from a stout to a sour, an IPA to a lager. A wine list is also available too and though being short, it certainly is sweet on the ol' hip pocket.
