Dewar's Whisky: the history
Any self-respecting whisky drinker should know the story behind the first blended Scotch whisky, which began over a century ago.
Dewar’s Whisky has created a pop–up whisky bar in the basement of the Grace Darling Hotel. The Lock Inn is an immersion into the world of Tommy Dewar, son of master blender John Dewar. Guests will receive a free dram of award-winning Dewar’s 12 while listening to stories about Tommy’s global adventures, including to Australia. Additional Dewar’s blends, unique single malts and cocktails will be available for purchase. Live music will also be on from 9pm 'til late.
